THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. Heb 11:1 (THE MESSAGE) Faith is putting our trust in God without any iota of doubt. It is seeing what God has spoken whether or not the physical manifestation is seen. Faith is what has distinguished fathers of old despite the timing and situations of things in their lives. Who would have imagined that someone can be no more without seeing death just because he walked with God? For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Heb 11:2-3 NKJV   Enoch is a man who loved God so much and this we saw in this daily life as he journeyed with God even though he does not understand what it takes and how it will end. Enoch fellowshipped with God and stayed with God until the aroma of God’s presence smeared on him so strongly that he became…

PEACE IN THE STORM- by Eniola Joy

Peace is a state of rest where all that matters is God and your heart is fixed on him. Heb 12:2,Jude 21. 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2 KJV For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.Ps 36:9 KJV Peace is having light and understanding in every situation that gives you a blessed assurance that God is forever with you. Psalm 36:9. It is love overshadowed; it is when God’s love fills your heart and mind with his beauty. Matt 11:29 A state of peace is when you are in a stormy boat on a stormy sea and you can still sleep with absolute rest that God is with you and you’ll never be ashamed like Jesus when he was in the boat with his disciples. The Devil is just roaring like a lion because he’s actually not a lion, he is a defeated foe. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek…

FORGIVENESS; THE KEY TO UNDILUTED FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD

Have you ever been in a situation where you have been offended and the person in question does not see any reason to ask for your forgiveness or plead with you. In this case, you might become pissed off and wonder if the person can be forgiven. The scripture has rightly given us examples of what it is to forgive, the benefits and how we can become victorious as we forgive one another. The first case study I will like to speak about is that of our Lord Jesus, the one who lived and died forgiving us all. Jesus the son of God was sent to pay our debt in spite of our ingratitude and desire to continue in sin, he died on the cross for us to inherit life in abundance. He did not die for our sins because we had done good deeds to him or to another, infact the scripture describes the wickedness of man to be terrible and unthinkable. Man was in a state of shame; no man was worthy of being called good until Christ came for us all. He bore our pain on his body and healed us by his stripes. This is indeed…

FOCUS ON YOUR FOCUS- Fulfilling your Divine Calling

Focus they say creates blindness. I mean blindness to all forms of distraction. Distraction is described as an attraction that side-tracks you. Distraction may look like something attractive; it can even be an addition but it leaves you not fulfilling your divine mandate for destiny. Sometimes, it makes a man becomes nothing as touching God’s agenda and purpose. A man that is said to be focused is a man who has only one goal/objective and who knows the why’s of his purpose and he pursues the reason for living. A man of focus is not one who always compares and contrasts himself with others, instead he runs with deep insight and understanding of God’s will. He is not trying to do what everybody is doing but what he has been called to do. He is a man of one-eye, I mean he is concerned about just one thing; what God has called him into. When you keep looking at a particular direction, you find out that you cannot see what’s happening at other areas; You can only get to look at other areas except you lose focus of the direction of concern. When you focus on your God-given goal, you…

THE GOOD SHEPHERD

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.       Psalm 23:1-6 Who is a Shepherd? A shepherd is one who tends a flock, to pasture, to graze and feed. A shepherd can also mean a ruler, teacher. A shepherd cares about his sheep or his pastures. He endeavors to nourish his sheep/herd and sustain them. Just like a father nourishes his family; seeking better means of living for his home, a shepherd cares for the sheep and feeds them. Therefore, I can say without the…

BE AT ALERT! 1 Peter 5:8

One of the first thing you think when someone tells you to be at alert or vigilant is that you look around in fear to check what the problem is. When God uses this word, he is talking about the equipping of a man with the whole armour of God which is the perquisite to victory in life. I Peter 5:8             The truth is this; we have an adversary who is always looking around for people he could devour in ignorance, fear, shame, covetousness, pride and other works of the flesh. Anyone who dwells in these things is whatever the Devil and his cohorts are doing. We must stand against man in spirit realm without taking chances as a spiritual being, we have all the right to control every situation and we are master over all circumstances. (Luke 12:32) Probably we have forgotten who God made us, our purpose and identity. Romans 8:15 We are God’s image revealed in Christ Jesus, the glory of the Father established on earth. I am happy to tell you that he Loves you forever. II Timothy 1:7 As a soldier will always be at alert and well armed with weapons, not checking around…
