THE WAY MAKER

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Ps 27:1 KJV It can be funny when life’s challenges pose a threat at you saying there is no way. Even men who believe they have so much power can try to frustrate or deny you of what God has in plan for you.  This is of course is to cause you to fear. And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. 15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. Ex 1:13-16 KJV The case of the…

THE SPOKEN WORD

For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The spoken word is God’s authoritative word for which he brings things into being. The spoken word is the power of God at work for which he performs all things, the spoken word is God’s power and authority at work. When God speaks, his words will come to pass and not a jot of God’s word will go without accomplishing that which God have spoken. This is because God’s word is like a messenger that does not return without accomplishing that which God has spoken. The spoken word is the power of God to cause a change that is why it is by the word all things were created. God and his word are inseparable, this tells us that the word has the same capacity by which God has. This means when God sends his word, it goes with the same strength as if God did it. When God speaks a word, it goes in…

THE BLESSING

THE BLESSING Blessings Deuteronomy 28:1 – 6And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.  KJV Divine Empowerment Genesis 1:26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth…

DISCONNECTED FROM THE SOURCE

Just recently, I saw a cockcroach who seems to be active, busy and doing its thing in the house. Because I know that a cockcroach is a dangerous insect capable of transferring germs and bacteria and moreover, I don’t need a neighbour that can be that dangerous 😜 so I seek to eliminate it immediately. The cockcroach had a level of smartness but suddenly I caught a grip of it, smashed its legs with a small bag close to me suddenly it became still and didn’t move for over 5 mins but just when I thought it was dead and was ready to take it out it began to move its head and was trying to move its legs so it could escape quickly.  I assumed it fainted when I smashed its legs with my bag and later woke up later on. So, I saw it now struggling with its legs. Normally, it thought that it could have left the scene with his legs when they were active and well but alas they have been disconnected from its joints and its struggle to move did not come with significant movement.  The cockcroach tried a little better, moving its legs perhaps…

THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. Heb 11:1 (THE MESSAGE) Faith is putting our trust in God without any iota of doubt. It is seeing what God has spoken whether or not the physical manifestation is seen. Faith is what has distinguished fathers of old despite the timing and situations of things in their lives. Who would have imagined that someone can be no more without seeing death just because he walked with God? For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Heb 11:2-3 NKJV   Enoch is a man who loved God so much and this we saw in this daily life as he journeyed with God even though he does not understand what it takes and how it will end. Enoch fellowshipped with God and stayed with God until the aroma of God’s presence smeared on him so strongly that he became…

PEACE IN THE STORM- by Eniola Joy

Peace is a state of rest where all that matters is God and your heart is fixed on him. Heb 12:2,Jude 21. 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2 KJV For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.Ps 36:9 KJV Peace is having light and understanding in every situation that gives you a blessed assurance that God is forever with you. Psalm 36:9. It is love overshadowed; it is when God’s love fills your heart and mind with his beauty. Matt 11:29 A state of peace is when you are in a stormy boat on a stormy sea and you can still sleep with absolute rest that God is with you and you’ll never be ashamed like Jesus when he was in the boat with his disciples. The Devil is just roaring like a lion because he’s actually not a lion, he is a defeated foe. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek…

FORGIVENESS; THE KEY TO UNDILUTED FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD

Have you ever been in a situation where you have been offended and the person in question does not see any reason to ask for your forgiveness or plead with you. In this case, you might become pissed off and wonder if the person can be forgiven. The scripture has rightly given us examples of what it is to forgive, the benefits and how we can become victorious as we forgive one another. The first case study I will like to speak about is that of our Lord Jesus, the one who lived and died forgiving us all. Jesus the son of God was sent to pay our debt in spite of our ingratitude and desire to continue in sin, he died on the cross for us to inherit life in abundance. He did not die for our sins because we had done good deeds to him or to another, infact the scripture describes the wickedness of man to be terrible and unthinkable. Man was in a state of shame; no man was worthy of being called good until Christ came for us all. He bore our pain on his body and healed us by his stripes. This is indeed…

FOCUS ON YOUR FOCUS- Fulfilling your Divine Calling

Focus they say creates blindness. I mean blindness to all forms of distraction. Distraction is described as an attraction that side-tracks you. Distraction may look like something attractive; it can even be an addition but it leaves you not fulfilling your divine mandate for destiny. Sometimes, it makes a man becomes nothing as touching God’s agenda and purpose. A man that is said to be focused is a man who has only one goal/objective and who knows the why’s of his purpose and he pursues the reason for living. A man of focus is not one who always compares and contrasts himself with others, instead he runs with deep insight and understanding of God’s will. He is not trying to do what everybody is doing but what he has been called to do. He is a man of one-eye, I mean he is concerned about just one thing; what God has called him into. When you keep looking at a particular direction, you find out that you cannot see what’s happening at other areas; You can only get to look at other areas except you lose focus of the direction of concern. When you focus on your God-given goal, you…
