MASSIVE OUTPOUR

There is something called massive outpour, it is the release of grace upon a life, family, a business and more. It is when God shines his face upon a life, the outcome or result is always massive. Acts 2:1-4 KJV And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Have you seen a business that is done on the bill of grace or a marriage done on a bill mercy and grace; the result is always different. This is because just like Jesus was never ordinary when he was here on earth. He worked the works of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, he did nothing by the energy of the flesh that’s why he got the result he got. Every life…

SETTLED

The word settled reveals the state of rest or peace by which all storms and billows are calmed and life is at its peak. It is God’s will for all to be settled. The situation where a life is settled is not actually the absence of chaotic situations or challenges of life, it is the presence of God in all spheres of such life. You must have seen men and women who have money but they are not settled. The kind of settlement we speak of is the inward peace that transcends all understanding. It is when God’s fullness dwells in a life and envelopes it that’s when a life is settled. Our total dependency on our heavenly father who supplies our needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus makes us settled. When a man lack peace and is void of understanding of the word, he isn’t settled. Glory to God for all he has done for us and the finished work on the cross and the resurrection to give us a new life. Today many of us do not accept the word as it were but confess that we truly believe. It is not just words…

EXCESS LOVE

A scenario came to mind as I was meditating on the love of God for me. There is a scenario one who is the not the father or mother of a child when the child offends him/ her as the case may be. They may say, “I never want to see you again. Just get out of my sight” and they meant it. They can afford to throw away their relationship with such child without looking back because of course the child is not theirs. Its easy to discard him/her. You have not invested over such child neither do have you gone through any sacrificial experience to get or protect the child so, you don’t really care. The second scenario is that of one who gave birth to that child when the child offends them and they are really angry with the child. Though they are angry with the child, they can never say get out of my life or out my sight I don’t want to see you again, never! No way. Even when they say get away, they are still the one who goes to such child and correct him/her explaining why they are angry and why he/she…

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Spiritual growth is a crucial part of life which no man can afford to joke with this is because man himself is a tripartite being. He is a Spirit with a soul and lives in a body therefore the need to grow spiritually is important in all forms of human endeavor. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 1 Corinthians 2:14-15 Just like when a child is born, he needs to be nurtured and well taken care of to enhance his growth physically in the same manner a Spirit man needs to be fed and needs to be well nurtured in order to bring him into full manifestation of his potentials or abilities. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2 Though growth is essential but we must understand that growth needs to happen in a proper way. How do we achieve this? For instance, when a child does not feed on…

ABSOLUTE TRUST

Those who trust in the Lord are steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance. Ps 125:1 (TLB) 11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Ps 5:11-12 (KJV) Have you ever been in a situation where you need someone to lean on?      11 But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20:11 (KJV) Everyone have in one or the other has been in such situations Acts17:28. Many times theses situation has led to some people’s greatness and while some others met their death or were crushed down under such burdens.                   4 Don’t be afraid — you’re not going to be embarrassed. THE STIRRING OF DEEP WATERS

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”  1 Corinthians 2:10 (NKJV) The life of any man does not consist of things he has in possession. Any life that solely depends on God is a complete life. No one receive more without first making full use of whatever he has been given. In the scripture, the man at the pool of Batheseda whose condition remain the same as a result of his inability to enter the pool when it is stirred by an angel. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades.  Here a great number of disabled people used to lie — the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. GOOD GROUND; DIVINE LIFE

Luke 8:15 “But that on the ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience”. The word of God defines us and sets our future. Therefore it is important that we give heed to the word to live out our full potentials on earth. The parable of the sower as given by the account in the Book of Luke, was shared with so much clarity and details that gives a better understanding of it. Hence it is worth studying alongside the other accounts of the same parable in the scriptures. The Parable of the sower reveals of four different hearers of the word. It uses similes to describe them. Wayside ground, rocky ground, thorny ground and good ground. “Wayside” hearer didn’t understand the word and so lost it, ‘rocky ground’ hearer heard the word but did not have depth and so the word couldn’t take root downward to bear fruits upward. ‘Thorny ground’ hearer received the word but the cares of this world competed with the word as so it couldn’t bear fruit. However, the ‘good ground’ hearer received the word with honesty (sincerity) and kept it…

A DISCERNING HEART

DISCERNING HEART; NOT EASILY DECEIVED Discernment is the ability to get quick perceptions or judgement on an important matter. For judgment, discernment is more than an instinct or a psychological attribute. It’s the divine ability given by God to understand his leadings per time. It is seeing and knowing beyond the physical. Within judgment, discernment involves going past the mere perception of something and making nuanced judgments about its properties or qualities. Discernment is a quality of attentiveness to God’s voice or any other he speaks such that, over time, this develops into the ability to sense God’s heart and purpose in any given moment of our live. We become familiar with the tone, quality, and content of God’s voice per time.       With the world’s quest for power, money and fame. so many have lost their hard-earned money or precious properties because they could not discern and make right decisions as at when due. The discerning heart functions as a result of the discerning spirit and the Spirit comes to play when one’s heart is yielded to God. For God is the giver of all things and all things are received in Christ Jesus. When a man is covetous and…
