Peace is a state of rest where all that matters is God and your heart is fixed on him. Heb 12:2,
Jude 21.

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heb 12:2 KJV

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Ps 36:9 KJV

Peace is having light and understanding in every situation that gives you a blessed assurance that God is forever with you. Psalm 36:9. It is love overshadowed; it is when God’s love fills your heart and mind with his beauty. Matt 11:29 A state of peace is when you are in a stormy boat on a stormy sea and you can still sleep with absolute rest that God is with you and you’ll never be ashamed like Jesus when he was in the boat with his disciples. The Devil is just roaring like a lion because he’s actually not a lion, he is a defeated foe.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall t rest unto your souls.
Matt 11:29 KJV

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:40 KJV

Peace is when your friend died for three days and you are not disturbed because you know he’s going to live. John 11:40-44. It is when you’ve prayed and believed that your prayer is definitely answered; it is when you saw him raised from the dead like Jesus raised Lazarus after he had died for 3 days. It is when you know and understand that you’re God’s beloved and he hears you whenever you call him. John 14:41-42.

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
John 11:41-44 KJV

You know he loves and you are secured in him forever. It’s when you see a seemingly hopeless situation of a widow whose son was about to be buried and everyone close by was in tears and pain of losing loved one. It is when you smile and told them to stand still at this burial procession and bring this son that was dead back to life because life lives in you.

It is bringing joy and peace to a hopeless situation no matter what it takes. Peace is losing your capacity to struggle and wrestle with God’s will and letting go to let God conquer your fear. It is still enquiring of the Lord in spite the hopeless situation like David when his wives and children and all that he had were carried away captive and his habitation burnt. 1 Sam 30:1-8

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
8 And David inquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
1 Sam 30:6-8 KJV

It is believing God’s word to run, overtake and recover all that had been lost without doubt or fear. It is focusing on God’s word despite all it takes for the fulfillment of God’s promises like Abraham who wasn’t staggering at God’s promises, Rom 4:20; Heb 11:10, he sought for a city whose builder and maker is God. Heb 11:17
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 4:20-21 KJV

It is waiting on God through faith and patience receiving your Isaac and rejoicing at the word. It is consistent and constant fellowship with God even in dangerous circumstance that look like God has forgotten you like Job.
And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. Gen 21:1-3 KJV

It is looking away from strange friends and counsellors who seek to distract or cause you to lose focus. It is seeing God as exactly who he is no believing the lies of the Devil to brainwash you of God’s love and care. It is loving God by strength he provides through the Holy-ghost. It is seeing a future that God has planned from the foundations of the earth like Ruth even after losing all in strange land. It is seeing that God has no forgotten you despite all. It is loving others all the way, walking in understanding as you walk into all that was prepared for you.

It is running back to God, the owner of your life despite falling away like David after been chastened by God when he crossed the boundaries by sleeping with Bathsheba and killing Uriah, her husband. It is seeing yourself as God’s beloved and falling back into his hands so he can re-dress you, clean you up and re-model you for his glory. 2 Samuel 12:7
And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die
2 Sam 12:13 KJV

It is entering into the holies of holies and presenting a once for all sacrifice with capacity to forgive and saying it is finished especially after going to hell and beating the Devil hands down until he receives you the key that was stolen at the very beginning. It is knowing the pain and still going through it all for mankind. Surely, he believes God will not leave his soul in hell neither will he experience corruption. He knows he will yet rise again having conquered and having brought many sons to glory to the praise of the Lord.

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 10:12 KJV

the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:6-7 KJV

It is seeing light in the very dark world and shinning forth for others to see and become like Christ. No matter the storm, keep your head straight focusing on Jesus, the one who loved you and gave himself for you that you may enjoy peace and rest in the storms of life. Therefore, enjoy your precious gift blood bought to make you loved and forgiven. Now, we can now stand before our Father without fear because we have been accepted in the beloved and we have been crowned with Glory and Virtue. Glory!

And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.
Romans 8:26 – 27 TPT
