THE WAY MAKER

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Ps 27:1 KJV

It can be funny when life’s challenges pose a threat at you saying there is no way. Even men who believe they have so much power can try to frustrate or deny you of what God has in plan for you.  This is of course is to cause you to fear.

And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. 15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

Ex 1:13-16 KJV

The case of the children of Israel comes to light and here we see Pharaoh the King of Egypt saying no way to the people of his Israel because he knows he is the king of Egypt and no one can change his authority when he commands of course only in his domain, the land of Egypt but he is quick to forget that all powers belong to God and this same God rules in all the affairs of men. No one is too big for him to put under when it comes to doing his own biddings and commands. Even the most stiff-necked person is brought low before his mighty hand. He is the only wise God.

As I earlier said, Pharoah was so pompous and self driven he said there is no way the children of Israel will go out of his land of course this is because he was using them as slaves against the will of God. He was enjoying their free service while he gives them garlic, onions and cucumber. He terribly treated them with so much contempt that they cried unto the God of heaven for help.

Many times, when we are at our lowest, who we cry to really matters, this is because if we cry to men like us they might fail us or even make the matter worse than expected. When you are down and you need a helping hand, cry to God like the children of Israel, he is more than able to save and deliver you.

And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:  And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.

Exodus 6:5-8 KJV

As Pharoah continued to oppress the children of Israel, God heard their cry and sent a man named Moses to save them from the hands of Pharaoh. Moses came in the power and authority God gave him and put to nought the weapons of Pharoah and his magicians. They saw the hand of God as he did the impossible even the killing of the firstborn of the Egyptians.

God is a good God and he does good always though some people who do not have the fear of God always wants to put God’s precious people under their spell, dominion or authority. This can be as a result of their hunger for more power and a desire for evil. The more important thing is that God has always being with his own ensuring nothing overwhelms them because they are more than conquerors.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom 8:37-39 KJV

Just like the children of Israel, people might have told you so many negative things about you in the bid to pull you down or to make you lose the consciousness of the God in the inside of you but don’t give in to the Devil and his evil plans. Stand on the word of God which he has spoken concerning you and yours, confess his word. See what he says concerning you. You are unique, special and God’s special person. Never lose your focus in the pursuit of God for God has a good plan for you to bless and give you a glorious future beyond what you can ever think or ask for.
